A day I knew was coming, peacefully and mercifully came today...
My Grammy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last November.
These last 9 months have been by and large blessed for her and for us, her beloved heritage. Though she will be sorely missed in our hearts her kindness and love will forever remind us of the awesome reunion waiting for us.

Heather, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Even though it's expected sometimes, it's not always easy. I'm glad to see you are remembering all those good memories you have of her. It definitely helps ease the pain. I hope you can feel comforted right now!

i'm so sorry to hear about your Grandma. It sounds like she was a great lady. The pictures of her as a little girl are beautiful.
I'm so sorry, Heather. Losing your grandmother is never easy, no matter how old they are or how long they've been sick. My grandma died a few years ago at 90, and I still miss her a ton. My other grandmother is 90 now and currently in the hospital, but I'm hoping she has another good 10 years in her!
