day e.l.e.v.e.n. of the things i {love}

i {love}reciepes.

here are some of my favorites:

Chicken Salad:

rinse & pat dry. cube.
boil until medium done
large shells
put together with chicken & add
3 C. red grapes
3 C. chopped celery
Dressing:
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 C. mayonaise
1/1/2  C. sour cream
2 TBS. honey
dass of salt
dash of pepper
2 TBS mustard
atleast 2 TBS. balsimic vinegar
add to above mixture & refrigerate overnight

Apricot Chicken:
use 4 large bonless,skinless chicken breasts {not frozen}
cut into 4ths
place in a 9x13 pan
poor over top:
1/2 bottle or 8 oz. russian salad dressing {kroegars}
18 oz. bottle apricot jam {kroegars}
bake covered for 30 min.
bake uncovered for another 30 min.

Biscuts:
425 12-15 min.
one dozen

2 1/4 C. flour
4 teas. baking powder
1/2 teas. cream of tarter
1/2 teas. salt
2 TBS sugar
1/2 C. butter
2/3 C milk
1 egg

cut the butter into the dry ingredients add the milk & egg [i mix the egg & milk before i pour it into the dry mix] then stir with a fork
don't work with the dough a lot it makes it tough...just blend it & then put it on a floured surface... i just pat it out to the desired thickness & don't use a rolling pin. cut with a biscut cutter or a glass. place on a buttered cookie sheet & bake. Yum.

Crack Cookies:
mix really well [until mixture is light & fluffy, around 5-7 min.]
1 C. butter
1C sugar
1 C. brown sugar packed but not too firmly
add:
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
add & mix well:
2 C. flour
1 tsp. soda

1 tsp. salt
1 bag chocolate chips
2 1/2 to 3 C. oatmeal
shaved chocolate to your taste [around 1 cup]
nuts if desired
bake at 375 for 11-13 min or until slightly golden on top.

hope you enjoy. those were just a few....
