{it's divine}

Wow! I have a nine-year-old. Is that weird to anyone else? Or just me?
I can't remember when I was nine. he is definitely not my little boy anymore. Here is some of the things we did for his big day.

::Friday, the day.before.his.birthday,i brought one [big]football cupcake to share with his classmates.

::Friday night i decorated his room. It is our tradition that when you only have a "family" party [i only do even # b.day.parties] that you wake.up to a birthday surprise... it includes: a birthday sign, balloons, presents, favorite candy+soda.
::Cayden woke up & loved his surprise but, loved this surprise even more...
::That day we took him to University Village in Seattle. This is the view that we had on the way up there:

What a beautiful day+ a fun shopping place. Cayden got to pick.out a yummy cookies n' cream ice.cream.cone at the ["Confectionery"]
love that store.
::On the way home he wanted to go to dinner at the "Rain Forest Cafe."
What a great atmosphere. he got to invite one friend. Well, his best friend, Ayden. We said it would be o.k. since he is moving in June.

::The cake
Well, it looks like we had an action-packed day trying to make it special for Cayden. What mom's do to accomplish just that. Whew, I am exhausted.
