{what a week}

... what else do i say
snow.snow.& more snow
never seen this much snow.ever.in Washington
that means:
no school
no roads plowed
no movement
no power
no stores opened
but,
the kids loved every minute in all of that white powdery stuff.
plus the...
t.v. on
i pad on
DS was going on too
movies on
[when the power was on]
hot cocoa served
also, i won't lie. the fighting was
going on between the kids too. ha! :)

:: The week before all this[meaning all the snow] 

 we met up with the[Oldroyd's]

Friday morning, I loaded the kids in the car

and we headed for Portland...

the kids were so excited.

Portland is awesome. but, like usual i got lost

and  had to stop several places to find out

where to go. the kids kept making fun of me.

We finally made it to OMSI.

and in Brooke's words::: "true 'Heather style'" she had an over the top bag for everyone

so after the girls changed into their matching Valentine shirts we were ready to go

i just love doing that kind.of. stuff

Yes. Three mom's and 12 kids.

met a long.lasting friend as well.

Been pretty cute watching them text & have a great friendship~

:: The cute girls had a great time in the giant sandbox

:: After a full day of fun we headed to the hotel to swim before dinner

{we may have got a knock on the door by the front desk

telling us to quiet down...ooops!}

:: In the morning we stopped at Ikea to let the kids play (while we shopped around)

then hotdogs and ice cream for lunch before hitting the road home

"Ditto" to what Brooke said,

I just LOOVE her.

Seriously it was such a blast.

She is a friend that is more like a sister.

She is a type of friend that you just want to

be like. She has 5 kids. 4 girls & 1 boy.

they are all so well behaved.

our kids match up too

& get along so well.

Kate & Marlee are like twins!

i don't know how she does it.

plus she is super fun, creative, & soo cute.

And our time was over way too fast.

And. It was a super duper rainy, cold drive home.

Garrett and Audra slept the whole way home

2 hours of peace & quiet~ :))

So glad i did it!
